Sinclair Singers

The Sinclair Singers, under the direction of Sharon Sinclair, was formed in 2006 and is made up of young adults ages 17-25. These 12 singers, many of whom graduated from Sharon’s choral program at Wellington Secondary School, enjoy meeting every Monday evening for rehearsals. They sing a wide variety of styles suitable for a small chamber choir and their repertoire is sung mostly a cappella. Over these last two years, they have performed at various community events including competing in the Upper Island Music festival. This past May, they performed as the guest choir for A Cappella Plus Chamber Choir’s spring concert and they also participated as guests at the Vancouver Island Gospel and World Music Choir concert at the Port Theatre.

The Sinclair Singers audition and accept new members for the September and January terms.
