Panache!

Panache!, a newly-formed vocal ensemble comprised of six women who share a love of music, began to sing together in May, 2009 – just for the fun of it.  Weekly ‘meetings’ soon became rehearsals and it did not take the group long to get serious about its work together and begin to seek opportunities to perform.  

To ‘perform with panache’ is the group’s purpose as they offer their audiences the gift of music and their love of singing.  Their repertoire is eclectic – a vocal palette of sound in all genres ranging from serious to light-hearted.  Panache! is self-directed, and accompaniment varies depending upon repertoire.

In December 2009, Panache! made its debut as guests at the Yellow Point Singers Christmas Concert.  They also sang at seniors' residences and performed for family and friends at a private ‘house’ concert.  Panache! looks forward to future performances and to participating in Nanaimo Sings 2011.
