A Cappella Plus has been performing in Nanaimo and central Vancouver Island for over 30 years.  Apart from its own concerts, A Cappella Plus has taken part in many community events over the years. These have included the opening of the Port Theatre and its 10th Anniversary celebrations, the Open Minds Open Windows fundraiser, the singing of the anthem with Camarata Singers at the Olympic Torch Relay, and many more.

A Cappella Plus started as a group of eight people singing madrigals, but has evolved into a larger ensemble that enjoys singing everything from madrigals to pop.

With Director Rosemary Lindsay at the helm since 2003, the choir has performed to a wider audience around the Central Vancouver Island Region, West Vancouver, and the Gulf Islands. In 2008 A Cappella Plus took part in Kathaumixw, the international choral festival in Powell River.
Last year, A Cappella Plus launched its second CD, “Come Go With Me”.
